Dear Medical, Dental and Vision Professionals,

Placer Veterans Stand Down which will be held May 4th and 5th 2021, and is in need of clinical volunteers! This year the clinic will be held at The Grounds (formerly the Roseville Fairgrounds) and is supported by California CareForce which allows us to provide several hundred medical, vision and dental services for local Veterans and their families.

Our success depends on you, local clinicians, volunteering your time and expertise!!

Please consider donating your time and professional talents during the event by serving a 4-5 hour shift or 2. We need optometrists, opticians, RNs, general dentists, oral surgeons, assistants and hygienists. This is a great team-building event – please bring your team!

It’s easy to register. CLICK HERE TO VOLUNTEER on the California CareForce site. Careful – there are 2 clinics open for registration. Be sure to sign up for Placer Veterans Stand Down in May. Just fill out the form for each team member attending and we will contact you with all the information and instructions.

DENTISTS – while our priority is providing care at the clinic, if you are unable to attend the event, you may ”Adopt-A-Vet” or two or three! The veterans that qualify for “adoption” will be those who:

  • Attended Stand Down May 2021
  • Received screening, x-rays, prophylaxis and we have determined specific needs
  • Need services we did not have resources to provide at Stand Down

We are very excited about the Placer Veterans Stand Down and confident the success of this event will not only help strengthen our Veterans and Placer County, but also encourage each of us as community partners to work together for the benefit of our veterans. Please join us and check out our website for more information about Stand Down. I look forward to including you in our success!

Please share and invite your friends, dentists and hygienists!!
